It is summer time...

It is summer time and while it may be time for the beach if you live near it, friends, family, vacations, and relaxing; summer is a great time for volunteering too! There are usually so many events in your area during the summer that need volunteers. There are usually fairs, or zoos, or recreational centers, beach clean ups, or even your local YMCA that need volunteers. Volunteering is a great and easy way to earn Community Service hours for college or just for fun. When I volunteer for something, whether it be a beach clean up or helping people register and get their papers and pins for races I feel good. I feel like I have accomplished something. There are so many things to volunteer for and places that need volunteers. The possibilities are endless. So get out there and volunteer!
